Outlet Baltimore

a social event for the people

Outlet #1: January 28th at Rocket to Venus

We’re excited to announce that the first Outlet Baltimore will be held on January 28th at Rocket to Venus in Hampden. The event will run from 6-8 pm, and during that time event attendees will have access to discounted Yuengling and Resurrection pitchers (to facilitate sharing, natch) courtesy of RtV.

What is Outlet Baltimore, you ask? It’s an opportunity for people in and around Baltimore’s New Media (creative/tech/etc) community to get together, enjoy each other’s company, and put some faces to the names behind Twitter feeds, blogs, websites. It’s about making connections and developing relationships, thereby strengthening the community as a whole.

Outlet is meant to fill a niche as a complement to some of the great regular events Baltimore already enjoys, such as Ignite and Refresh.

Please visit the About/FAQ page to learn more, and visit the Directions page if you’re unsure about the location. If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment on this post and we’ll leave follow-up comments with the answers.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!

  1. Great idea! We don’t have any events like this where there’s no formal agenda at all except to mingle! I’ll be there!

Sorry I’ll miss you that evening but count me in the future. Also we are having a meetup the night before in Historic Ellicott City at Ellicott Mills Brewery (http://www.meetup.com/Baltimore-Washington-Tech-Meetup/).
Our agenda is trends in the web3.0.
